Our art has been brought to us by Hatsumi Masaaki of Noda City, Japan. The head of Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu.

Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu offers its students training in tradition and realistic self-protection techniques. Our art is a 900-year-old collection of highly efficient methods for generating security and peace of mind in today's turbulent world, with an emphasis on the cultivation of maximum personal power and responsibility. More than mere physical fighting, Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu teaches us to recognize and defuse conflicts at all levels, including confrontation in the social, mental and emotional realms. Students use these methods in our art to learn to successfully deal with striking, grappling and weapons attacks. At the same time, they learn ways of moving their body naturally and efficiently in leaping, tumbling and special walking skills.

Training at the Mizukagami Dôjô is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together, assisting each other in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition or previous martial art experience.

Training at the Mizukagami Dôjô is under the supervision of Rob Boger. He holds a Shidoshi-hô teaching license issued by Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi, and trains extensively with other Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu instructors throughout the United States and abroad.
